that's right although iirc they only have the rights for the movies but not the games, they do have a deal with MARVEL in which SONY allows Spiderman to appear in the MCU in exchange for other concessions although i'm not sure if they are public but we know that the game was produced by Insomniac which is also owned by Sony so they should have the rights for everything related to itSony has Spider-Man's rights, and i think this includes the games. So probably not
that said is pretty shady to use the character theme of Spiderman when (for what i know) he doesn't actually appear in the movie at all other for a potential reference to Peter Parker in which he isn't even named

Madame Web is a big mess, honestly i wouldn't be surprised if they legitimately didn't noticed Dakota Johnson for example can't recall the name of the latest Spiderman movies
